Harry Kane committed his future to Bayern Munich in his latest interview, but uncertainties remain.
The 31-year-old appears to be firmly focused on life with the Bavarian giants, even despite the fact he’s approaching the final year of his contract after the summer break.
The No.9’s time at the club has been marked by consistently world-class performances and an impressive goal-scoring record.
Kane´s been the club’s most consistent performer since first signing for Bayern in 2023 for a Bundesliga record fee, scoring 77 times in 83 games.
That all said, despite it seeming a happy marriage with the potential Bundesliga champions, the England captain left some room for speculation over his future.
Harry Kane addressed Premier League transfer rumours

Mick Brown at Football Insider suggested Kane would be open to a return to England.
However, Liverpool and Premier League fans will have been left disappointed by the former Tottenham favourite’s latest thoughts on the matter.
The footballer made it clear that he’s ‘extremely happy’ at Bayern, and the fact his family are settled in Munich will surely only entrench that position.
“I’m not sure. I’ve said throughout my whole career, I’m not someone who likes to think too far ahead. I’m extremely happy here. I think we have a fantastic team, fantastic coaching staff and I just feel like whilst I feel like I’m in the best condition, I wanna play at the highest level possible, and this is as high as it gets,” Harry Kane told ESPN.
“So I know a lot can change in football in a short space of time and things can happen, but ultimately my focus is here. I’m not thinking about any other league or any other team. And with football, I like to just go the flow and at the moment the flow is here at Bayern Munich.”
‘I’m not sure’ understandably leaves some room for interpretation, but we can forgive him for leaving the door slightly open given how unpredictable the football climate can be.
Ultimately, the forward has done little else to indicate that he’s itching to leave Munich this summer.
Bayern Munich fans have nothing to fear
How couldn’t Kane be happy? Bayern are in a comfortable position in the Bundesliga and will face Inter Milan in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
By comparison at Tottenham, he had many seasons of competing at the highest level (whilst generally falling short). At Bayern, the expectation is to challenge for titles every year.
Every trophy-less season at Bayern is a failure – how many other clubs in world football come with comparable demands attached and the resources to meet their objectives?
Football may be unpredictable, but we ultimately remain a powerhouse in European and domestic football, and that shouldn’t be underestimated.
10 goals in the Champions League in 2024/25 prove that Harry Kane’s thriving on the biggest stage and offering Bayern their best chance of winning the trophy since 2020.
If he continues at this level, he could cement his legacy as one of the club’s greats – and even be in consideration for the next Ballon d’Or.
On that basis, fans should consider Kane unlikely to form part of a raft of potential exits this summer, for the time being at least!
