Leroy Sané appears to be steering toward an exit from Bayern Munich this summer.
The German international’s change of agent, joining forces with Israeli super-agent Pini Zahavi, prompted an unwelcome restart of negotiations.
A deal had previously been agreed between the footballer and his old agency (11Wins). However, it’s now understood that the 29-year-old wants improved terms.
Leroy Sané completes contract u-turn

Sané’s change of heart may be due in no small part to his partner, Candice Brook, wanting to return to England.
The German’s girlfriend is keen on the idea of going back to London. This has prompted Zahavi to check out opportunities in the English capital.
It remains to be seen what opportunities will open up to the former Manchester City star. However, his agent will have to work double time ahead of the upcoming window, given that his client allowed Bayern’s enforced deadline to pass on Saturday. He does not want to sign the old contract.
Bayern are committed to their prior offer – €10m [£8.39m] (plus €5m [£4.19m] in bonuses) – and don’t want to negotiate a fresh deal.
Barring a sudden discovery of flexibility, all signs point to the Bavarians allowing the Germany international to leave on a free this summer.
Is a Premier League move possible?
Pini Zahavi is knocking on doors in the Premier League ahead of an anticipated exit.
Chelsea may have to be ruled out as an option for Leroy Sané due to the Blues’ updated transfer policy.
There were prior talks with Arsenal, so perhaps this could be an opportunity for the winger and his agent to exploit.
Newcastle United are understood to be interested in the player.
Bayern not aware of Sané partying
Bayern Munich were not aware of the fact that Sané was present at Thilo Kehrer’s charity party in Monaco from Thursday through to Friday morning.
It’s not the best look for the footballer ahead of the club’s final Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim this afternoon.
Vincent Kompany’s men lifted the Meisterschale after their final home game (2-0 win against Gladbach) of the 2024/25 season last weekend.
