Leroy Sané could yet find himself returning to England despite having been close to a contract extension in Munich.
The German international had agreed a salary reduction in order to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena.
However, the winger had crucially not put pen to paper on the agreement ahead of switching agents to the renowned Pini Zahavi.
FC Bayern are now forced to start over negotiations with Sané.
Could Leroy Sané return to the Premier League?

We have heard that Leroy Sané would like to move to London if an agreement with Bayern collapses.
His new agent, Zahavi, is keen to restart negotiations and wants to open talks with the club.
The Bundesliga champions, however, have already made their position clear: They don’t want to increase the agreed salary of €10m (plus €5m in bonuses). The initial offer was €8m in base salary. He currently earns €15m (plus €5m).

FC Bayern wants to remain firm in their position in order to set an example ahead of future negotiations with players.
London is calling
Sané’s girlfriend, Candice, already spends most of her time in London with their children and wants to return to England.
The 29-year-old’s former agent from 11Wins had previously spoken to Arsenal. Pini Zahavi will knock on the door and check to see if this is still a possible opportunity for his client.
Leroy Sané can also imagine life with Chelsea. However, a move appears somewhat unlikely in light of the fact the Blues are committed to a philosophy of buying young.
Even Zahavi’s good relationship with the club won’t be able to change this.
Bayern issue contract ultimatum
Bayern Munich have decided to hand Sané an ultimatum: he must decide on his future within 10 days.
The club is rigid in its stance and won’t budge on its refusal to pay a signing fee.
