Tottenham Hotspur are showing keen interest in signing Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane in the summer transfer window.
Premier League rivals Arsenal are also in the race to sign Sane, who could leave the club for free this summer.
Sane has already rejected Bayern’s contract extension offer. The German giants have held talks with Sane’s agent, Pini Zahavi, but as of now, there has been no progress.
Leroy Sane wanted by several Premier League clubs

According to a report from Bild, London rivals Chelsea are also in the race for Sane’s signature.
Bayern are looking to restructure the contract offer for Sane by increasing the fixed salary from €10 million (£8.3m) to €12-€13 million (£10m-£10.8m) and reducing the bonuses, but there is a possibility that the winger might decide to move to London to stay close to his family.
Christian Falk has now informed CF Bayern that Spurs hold “concrete” interest in Sane, more than the other two London clubs.
Zahavi is very close to Daniel Levy (Tottenham chairman), and he is looking to secure a better deal for his client.
Tottenham signed Mathys Tel from Bayern on loan in January, and they have yet to decide whether to make the move permanent.
If Tottenham manage to sign Sane, they are unlikely to consider a permanent move for Tel.
Leroy Sane’s exit from Bayern looks likely
Since joining Bayern from Manchester City in 2020, Sane has scored 61 goals and registered 55 assists in all competitions.
He was brilliant in 2024/25, scoring 13 goals and claiming six assists across competitions.
Losing a player of his calibre for free will be a blow for Bayern. At the same time, it doesn’t make sense to provide him with a blank cheque while negotiating his new contract.
All three London clubs can offer Champions League football to Sane next season, and that is why he might be tempted to move to England once again.
Spurs have been awful in the league (finished 17th in the league table), but they ended the season on a high by winning the Europa League, beating Manchester United.
While the possibility of Sane staying at the Allianz Arena cannot be completely ruled out, it appears that a potential move to the Premier League could appeal to him.
