Lennart Karl shines on debut for Bayern Munich

Bayern were dominant in the first half, and they took a healthy 6-0 lead at the break.
It allowed Kompany to make changes to the side, and he thought it was the right moment for the teenager to get some exposure.
While there is no doubt that Auckland City were no match for Bayern, and the flattering scoreline at the break made it easy for Karl, he showed signs of great promise to come.
Bild wrote in the headline that translates to – “Amazement at Bavaria’s greatest talent.”
They mentioned in the body that the player caused a stir in his debut. He “wowed the crowd” with a brilliant dribble.
He took a cheeky shot from a tight angle and got his header just wide of the mark. The youngster is expected to get more minutes in this competition.
Vincent Kompany said about Karl: “Lenni has this ability to always be dangerous in the final third.
“I didn’t feel like we lost any goal threat when he played. That’s his strength. Good for Bayern, good for him that he made his debut.”
Strong start from Bayern Munich
Kompany remained coy on Kingsley Coman’s future, but the Bayern boss was delighted with the Frenchman’s effort. He scored two goals and set the tempo early on.
Thomas Muller became the third player, after Gerd Muller and Robert Lewandowski, to reach 250 goals for Bayern, a landmark achievement for the German star who will aim to win another trophy on his farewell tour.
Musiala was terrific since he came on, and his first goal was hailed as ‘spectacular.”
Karl registered a 91% passing accuracy and won four tackles, as per Sofascore. He is the fourth-youngest debutant ever, and his movements, pressing, and tactical understanding are way beyond his years.
