Kingley Coman scored twice as Bayern Munich thrashed Auckland City 10-0 in the group stage game of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Frenchman opened the scoring inside six minutes, and then added another in the 21st minute.
He also registered an assist to round off a solid performance, and Vincent Kompany is extremely pleased with the effort.
What Kompany has said about Kingsley Coman

Coman made history today by scoring the first goal of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The French winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Bayern Munich. It has been widely speculated that he could be sold in the summer.
The 29-year-old has enjoyed rich success with Bayern, and he has no shortage of admirers.
He has been linked with a move to Premier League club Newcastle United, but Christian Falk told CFBayern that the Magpies have other targets in mind.
Moreover, Coman probably favours a move to the Saudi Pro League. However, nothing has been decided yet.
In recent weeks, reports emerged that Bayern are willing to sign Rafael Leao from AC Milan, and the Italian giants could demand Coman as part of the deal.
When Kompany was asked by CFBayern Insider and head of BildSport, Christian Falk, to clarify Coman’s future, the Bayern boss refused to comment on the matter.
Kompany said (h/t @iMiaSanMia): “That’s a topic I’m not thinking about at the moment. We speak about his quality and we shouldn’t forget that he’s a player who scores important goals.
“I know people sometimes only look at the G/A stats, but he scored important goals in the history of this club. Today all attacking players played a good game. If he stays fit, then we have a top winger.”
Coman still likely to leave the club
Earlier this week, Leroy Sane joined Galatasaray, but he will still take part in this competition after Bayern reached an agreement.
Bayern made a strong attempt to persuade him to stay at the club, but he chose to move to the Turkish club instead.
Will Coman follow him through the exit door? He needs new challenges in his career, and his time at the German club could be coming to an end.
Bayern will hope that Coman enjoys a successful Club World Cup campaign, allowing them to sell him at a high price, preferably to a Saudi Pro League club.
