Everton are close to securing the signing of Bayern Munich teenage defender Adam Aznou.
The Toffees have been looking to bolster their defence this summer, and they have reached an agreement with Bayern to sign the 19-year-old.
He would become David Moyes’s fourth signing of the summer and would offer a boost to his depleted squad ahead of their pre-season tour to the United States.
Adam Aznou – the latest scenario

The youngster was part of the Bayern squad that travelled to the States for the Club World Cup, and he did manage some game time.
Christian Falk has informed CFBayern that Vincent Kompany was not entirely satisfied with the player’s attitude and performance in training.
At the same time, the youngster is also not happy with the lack of game time, and he feels it is the best option for him to move elsewhere.
He has lofty ambitions and wants to be a part of the Spain national team for the World Cup next year.
The Bild journalist further told us that the Aznou deal could be made official as early as today.
Everton will pay a permanent fee in the region of £7.8m, with a further £2.6m in add-ons. The player has already completed his medical.
Bayern have included matching rights in the deal for Aznou, but there is no buy-back clause. The German giants had tried to include one, but the Toffees rejected such a proposal.
Bayern Munich transfer window taking shape?
The Bundesliga champions are close to completing the signing of Luis Diaz from Liverpool.
Diaz has completed one part of his medical on Tuesday (at the time of writing), and he will sign a four-year deal at Bayern, with the possibility of further extending it for another year.
Bayern are likely to offload Bryan Zaragoza to Celta Vigo, and the deal is expected to be completed within the next few days.
