Bayern set to reach agreement for player exit in next 24 hours

Bayern Munich winger Bryan Zaragoza is reportedly set to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

The Spaniard, who spent the last season on loan at Osasuna, is heading towards joining La Liga club Celta Vigo.

Fenerbahce reportedly made an offer to sign the 23-year-old winger, but he rejected the move to play under José Mourinho.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Zaragoza’s move to Celta Vigo can be considered a done deal.

The Sky Sports journalist further added that a full agreement with FC Bayern on a loan with an obligation to buy has now been reached.

Christian Falk told CFBayern that the agreement is very close, and it should be reached within the next 24 hours.

In a separate tweet, Plettenberg claims that Celta can trigger an obligatory clause to sign Zaragoza for €13m, based on a realistic number of appearances.

Also, the Spanish club would need to finish no less than 13th in the La Liga table.

It appears that negotiations have accelerated over the past few hours, and the deal is nearing completion.

Bayern set to secure new winger

Zaragoza failed to make an impact for Bayern, and his exit looks inevitable.

Last season, he managed one goal and six assists in all competitions for Zaragoza.

Several clubs were interested in signing him this summer, and at one point it felt like his move to Celta Vigo would collapse.

Bayern, meanwhile, are close to securing their first major signing of the summer.

The German giants have reached an agreement to sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool for a fee of around £65.5m.

The Colombian international will sign a four-year contract at Bayern, with an option for a further 12 months.

He will fly to Germany on Monday and will undergo his medical on Tuesday.

Bayern are also interested in signing Nick Woltemade, and it remains to be seen whether they will make another offer to secure his services after signing Diaz.
