Liverpool have reportedly rejected an offer from Bayern Munich for Luis Diaz.
The 28-year-old has emerged as Bayern’s top target this summer, but the Reds have maintained their stance that the Colombian is going nowhere.
Diaz enjoyed an outstanding 2024-25 campaign for Liverpool, in which he scored 17 goals in all competitions.
Luis Diaz – the latest scenario

According to a report from The Athletic, Bayern submitted a bid in the region of €67.5million [£58.6m] for the Liverpool winger, but it was swiftly rejected.
The German champions submitted a bid worth €52m [£44.8m] for Luis Diaz earlier this month, and it has become clear that they need to get close to Liverpool’s valuation of the winger.
Liverpool value Diaz at upwards of €100m [£86m], but it is mainly for accounting purposes.
The former Porto winger is in the final 24 months of his contract at Anfield, but Liverpool will find it hard to turn down an offer in the region of £80m.
Christian Falk has informed CFBayern that Bayern are still working on the deal, as Diaz had already agreed to the transfer.
Bayern need to improve their offer for Diaz
Liverpool see Diaz as an important player in Arne Slot’s team for the next season.
He joined the Reds from Porto in January 2022 for an initial fee of £37.5m. He has made 148 appearances for the club, scoring 41 goals and providing 23 assists in all competitions, and Liverpool have every right to demand a high transfer fee for him.
Bayern desperately need to bolster their attacking areas after the departures of Leroy Sane, Mathys Tel and Thomas Muller.
As it stands, Bayern would likely come up with another offer for Diaz, but they are also exploring other options, such as Leandro Trossard and Xavi Simons.
