Bayern Munich are genuinely interested in signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, and they must look to make a concrete bid for him.
The 27-year-old attacker has fallen out of favour with Ruben Amorim and spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.
The Red Devil’s home-grown product is almost certain to leave Old Trafford this summer, and he is being linked with a move to Barcelona.
Marcus Rashford – what is the latest scenario?

Rashford understands that he has no future under Amorim and has reportedly informed the club about his desire to leave this summer.
Christian Falk previously reported that Man Utd would demand a fee of around €45m [£38.6m] for his services, and Bayern must look to spend the money on him.
Rashford has been on Bayern’s radar for some time now. Previously, he was seen as an expensive option, but now the England forward is within the club’s affordable range.
The need for a new forward has become a top priority for the club following the departures of Leroy Sane and Thomas Muller.
Moreover, Jamal Musiala has picked up a horrific injury that could rule him out for five months at least. Bayern need depth and quality in their forward areas, and Rashford could be an ideal fit.
Bayern should pay the fee and sign Rashford
The Bavarian club have been linked with a host of players, but it’s high time they narrow down their options and make concrete offers to secure their targets.
Rashford can play on the left flank and as a striker. He can also operate as a number 10 behind the striker role. In theory, he should be a perfect fit for Bayern under Vincent Kompany.
The Englishman has managed over 420 games for Man Utd and scored 138 goals. In 2022-23, he scored 30 goals in all competitions, demonstrating his ability to wreak havoc when given the proper freedom to express himself.
The likes of Rafael Leao, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Bradley Barcola would be too expensive for Bayern, and luring them away won’t be easy. Rashford, on the other hand, would come at a decent price.
