Al-Nassr preparing bid for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman

Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman could be on his way out of the club.

Coman impressed heavily for the German side during the Club World Cup, where he made history by becoming the first goalscorer for the tournament.

However, it appears that Bayern are open to the idea of selling Coman after they signed Luis Diaz from Liverpool this summer.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr are preparing a bid in the region of €30m [£26m] for the French winger.

Al-Nassr are offering him a contract that will run until 2028.

Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday that Al-Nassr had opened talks to sign the 29-year-old attacker, and club-to-club negotiations have taken place.

We covered at CFBayern that Bayern are engaged in advanced talks to sell the winger.

Back in June, Coman was first linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but it appeared that he was opposed to moving to the Middle East.

After impressing in the Club World Cup, there were suggestions that Bayern could take him off the market, and he could become an irreplaceable part of Kompany’s starting lineup.

When Kompany was asked about Coman’s future at Bayern, he said: “That’s not a topic I’m concerned with at the moment.

“When we talk about his quality, it’s important not to forget that he scores important goals. Sometimes you just look at the volume: 20 goals or 15 goals? But he has scored important goals in the history of this club.”

Who could replace Kingsley Coman?

If Coman leaves the club, Bayern will need a replacement ahead of the new season.

The German giants have signed Luis Diaz from Liverpool, but they missed out on several other targets.

The Bundesliga champions were linked with a move for Xavi Simons, but he is heading towards Chelsea instead.

This could work in Bayern’s favour. Christopher Nkunku is expected to leave Stamford Bridge if Simons arrive, and he is on Bayern’s radar.

VfB Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemade is another being targeted by the club, but as of now, they have failed to broker a deal.
