Bayern Munich have reached an agreement to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson on loan on transfer deadline day.
Earlier today, we covered that Bayern re-entered the race to sign the 24-year-old striker, and they were close to reaching an agreement with the Blues.
It is now done. Jackson will play for Bayern at the Allianz Arena this season.
Bayern Munich secure deal for Nicolas Jackson

Christian Falk told CFBayern that Bayern will pay a loan fee of €16.5m for Jackson, who has a contract with Chelsea until 2033.
Falk further added that the ‘obligation to buy’ option at €80m (including the €16.5m loan fee) becomes active only with a very high number of games.
Jackson has signed a five-year pre-contract agreement, which will come into effect if the clause is activated.
Jackson moved to Germany last week after Bayern reached an agreement with Chelsea.
However, the deal was on the verge of collapse after Chelsea told him to return to London following the injury to Liam Delap.
Jackson and his agent stayed back in Munich as they fought to convince Chelsea to let the transfer go through.
On Monday morning, Bayern reopened talks with Chelsea over signing Jackson, and they were optimistic about reaching an agreement.
The player’s agent, Ali Barat, said earlier: “Nico was ready. Bayern was ready. We were all aligned on a world-class project.
“For the agreement to be withdrawn at the final moment is deeply frustrating. But we won’t give up. I will fight with everything I have to make sure Nico’s next step reflects his talent, ambition, and the plan we built together.
“We hope that Chelsea can cover Liam Delap’s unfortunate injury.”
Second signing for Bayern
Jackson has already completed his medical. Therefore, only the formal announcement is left from both clubs.
He will become the fourth signing of the summer for Bayern following the arrival of Luis Diaz from Liverpool, Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen, and Tom Bischof from Hoffenheim.
Jackson has registered 30 goals and 12 assists in 81 matches for the Blues in all competitions, and he will be a fantastic addition to Vincent Kompany’s side.
