Bayern Munich are one of the clubs reportedly showing keen interest in signing Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi next summer.
During the summer transfer window, Guehi was only a step away from moving to Liverpool after a £35m deal was agreed on the deadline day.
The England international completed a part of his medical ahead of his move to Liverpool, but Palace pulled the plug after Oliver Glasner threatened to quit the club if the deal went through.
Liverpool are expected to move for him again during the January window at a cut-price deal, but several clubs are now looking to sign him for free next summer.
Bayern among clubs keen on Guehi

Christian Falk informed CFBayern exclusively last week that Guehi could be an interesting option for the German champions, considering that he would be a free agent next summer.
According to a report from The Mirror, Liverpool could face competition from Manchester City and Chelsea for Guehi’s signature, potentially developing into a significant transfer tug-of-war.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Juventus are among the other European clubs that are also keeping a close eye on the 25-year-old defender.
The report claims that there is no chance of Guehi leaving Selhurst Park in the January window; he has reiterated his commitment to Palace this season.
Should Bayern Munich move for Marc Guehi?
Bayern could look to sign a new centre-back, either in January or next summer, especially if they fail to secure a contract extension for Dayot Upamecano.
Jonathan Tah, Kim Min-jae, and Hiroki Ito are other options for Vincent Kompany, but Guehi, with his experience and quality, could be a stellar addition.
Min-jae has failed to cement a regular starting position at Bayern, and he could be offloaded at some point if his situation does not improve.
Liverpool will feel that they have an advantage in the race for Guehi, but they can expect more competition for him from other heavyweight clubs as they become involved.
