Harry Kane drops big Bayern future hint amid Tottenham return links

Harry Kane scored a brace on Friday night as Bayern Munich breezed past Werder Bremen 4-0 in the Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena.

In recent weeks, Kane has been linked with a return to the Premier League, and especially to his old club, Tottenham Hotspur, but the striker himself has poured cold water on the rumours.

The former Spurs striker reached his 100th goal for the club in just 104 games, and became the fastest player from Europe’s top five leagues to achieve the feat for a club in the 21st century.

Kane has a contract at Bayern until 2027, but there are fears that he might leave the club to move back to the Premier League, mainly to break Alan Shearer’s goal-scoring record.

Christian Falk previously told CFBayern that Kane could return to England and leave Bayern for £56.7m next summer, provided he informs the club before the end of the January window.

In recent weeks, it has been suggested that Kane would welcome a move to the Premier League, and Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle United could be interested in signing him. However, Tottenham have the priority to make a bid for Kane if he intends to leave.

Kane has now made it clear that he is not even thinking about leaving Bayern anytime soon; instead, he aims for another 100 goals and more trophies at the club.

What Kane has said about Bayern Munich future

Speaking after the match against Bremen, Kane said (h/t MiaSanSia): “No, not at the moment. I’m really happy here. I have two years left on my contract. I’m enjoying every moment.

“That [returning to England] is not in my thought process. I’m enjoying it with the team, with the coach, and hopefully we continue to be successful.”

The England skipper further added that Bayern is the right club for him to win trophies, and that he is aiming for another 100 goals for the club.

Thomas Frank recently stated that while he expects Kane to remain in Germany, he would welcome the striker back if he were to return.
