Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae has not suffered a serious injury.
Min-jae made his first season of the 2025-26 season in the 4-1 win against Hoffenheim last week, and he was outstanding for Bayern.
The 28-year-old defender picked up a nasty injury in the 68th minute and was replaced by Dayot Upamecano, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool.
Kim Min-jae has struggled for regular games

During the summer window, Bayern bolstered their defence by signing Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen, and Min-jae’s future came into doubt.
Along with Joao Palhinha, who moved to Tottenham Hotspur on loan, many thought that Min-jae could be offloaded in the summer window.
The Bavarian giants were heavily linked with a move for Renato Veiga, but the deal did not materialise in the end.
With Bayern failing to sign another defender, Min-jae stayed on. Tah has partnered with Upamecano at the heart of defence, but Min-jae has impressed whenever he has been called upon.
The South Korean was superb during the 6-0 win against RB Leipzig, and also impressed in the Champions League clash against Chelsea.
He made his first start of the season against Hoffenheim and made some fantastic blocks as Bayern went on to win four consecutive games in the Bundesliga.
Kim Min-jae Injury update is huge boost for Bayern Munich
Min-jae picked up an injury during the game, and he looked in a lot of pain as he was taken off.
According to a report from Kicker, he experienced some problems in his calf muscles, but the injury is not considered serious.
Min-jae will be given a few days off to recover, but he is expected to be fit to face Friday’s home game against Werder Bremen.
Bayern are still without Josip Stanisic, but Raphael Guerreiro is now back in the squad.
