Pafos played with ten men against the Greek side for over an hour, and yet they came out with a well-deserved point.

The Cypriot side are leading their domestic table with 12 points from five games.

They kept three clean sheets in a row before the streak was ended when they beat Omonia 2-1 on Saturday.

Juan Carlos Carcedo’s side have picked up four wins out of five this season, and should be in complete confidence ahead of this fixture after winning three games in a row.

Bayern have been simply outstanding in the Bundesliga this season. They have won all five of their games so far, scoring 22 goals already.

The German giants are heading into this fixture on the back of a 4-0 win against Werder Bremen, and Vincent Kompany’s side are riding high on momentum.

In recent weeks, there has been considerable discussion about Harry Kane’s future.

It was speculated that the England striker could return to the Premier League in an attempt to break Alan Shearer’s record, but he has stated his desire to continue at the German club.

Likewise, Dayot Upamecano’s future has also been the subject of intense speculation. The French defender has been in tremendous form this season, but he has attracted interest from Liverpool with his contract set to expire next summer.
