Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have a “priority” option on Harry Kane if he decides to leave Bayern Munich next summer.
Kane has been sensational for Bayern in the 2025-26 campaign, and he is entirely focused on winning trophies with the Bavarian club.
However, the England striker could be tempted to return to the Premier League, and if he does, Spurs would gladly welcome him back.
What’s the latest scenario with Harry Kane?

Kane has scored ten goals and provided three assists in all competitions for Bayern this season, bringing his total to 98 goals in 103 games across all competitions.
He moved to Bayern from Tottenham for a fee of £86.4m in the summer of 2023, and played a huge part last season in helping the German club win the Bundesliga title.
Christian Falk told CFBayern previously that Kane could return to England, and several clubs could be interested in signing him.
It has been suggested that there is a possibility of Kane returning to the Premier League. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle United have been linked with a move for the 32-year-old striker, but Spurs have the priority to sign their club legend.
According to a recent report from Bild, Kane can leave Bayern for £56.7m next summer, but only if he informs the club before the end of the January window.
Fabrizio Romano shares latest update on Harry Kane
Thomas Frank is a big admirer of Kane, and he has made it clear that the former Spurs striker is more than welcome to return to his old club. But he thinks Kane is happy at Bayern, and any potential move in the near future looks difficult.
Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Kane is fully focused on Bayern. He wants to win important titles at Bayern. Kane is fully convinced from what I’m told that Bayern can compete for the Champions League this season in a very serious way.
“At the end of the season, we will see what happens. Tottenham have sent their message – the doors are open. It depends on Harry Kane in the near future.
“Tottenham have a priority option in case Kane decides to leave Bayern in 2026 or in 2027. They will be the first ones to be offered the opportunity to sign Kane if he decides to leave Bayern.”
