Sources confirm Bayern’s Olise plans after Liverpool interest followed by Euro superpower

Real Madrid are now understood to be interested in Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.

Premier League interest from the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City has already been well-established.

This comes amid a stunning start to the 2025/26 campaign, with the France international registering 9 goal contributions in as many games (across all competitions).

Madrid interest in Bavarian talent will come as nothing new to the decision-makers at Säbener Straße.

As CF Bayern Insider sources have made clear, however, the Bundesliga champions do not intend to take the matter lying down.

In fact, Bayern Munich want to give Olise a brand new contract running until the summer of 2031.

It’s a commitment that shows just how highly Vincent Kompany’s side values the former Crystal Palace attacker – given his current terms will already keep him in Munich until 2029.

Why would Real Madrid be interested in Olise?

At 23 years of age, the Frenchman is simply one of the premier talents on the continent.

Following a successful spell in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, the question was always going to be whether or not Michael Olise could take his game to the next level in Europe.

With seven goal contributions in 14 games in the Champions League last year under his belt, Europe can consider the question addressed!

Of course, the difficulty now for FC Bayern is that Europe’s other superpowers now also consider Olise a solution in the transfer market.

Extending the number 17’s contract beyond 2029 would at least doubly ensure that any interested party will have to pay a small fortune to cut the winger’s Munich stay short.

Or, preferably, allow Bayern Munich to do more than simply help develop Europe’s most promising young right-sided winger for a competing Champions League outfit.
