Liverpool suffer blow in Michael Olise race
Salah will depart as one of the greatest players in Liverpool’s history and one of the finest to have played in the Premier League.
Liverpool are believed to be targeting a player with a similar profile, which has led to strong interest in Olise, whom they reportedly view as a dream signing.
Since joining Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace, the winger has elevated his performances to another level.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable season, contributing 16 goals and 22 assists across all competitions.
Renowned for his pace and dribbling ability, Olise has added end product to his game, establishing himself as one of the most effective wide players in Europe.
Strong statement of intent from Max Eberl
However, Bayern have made it clear that they have no intention of selling the Frenchman.
The attacker remains under contract until 2029, and the club are relaxed about his long-term future.
Sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed that Olise does not have a release clause and is not available for transfer.
Interest from Real Madrid has also been dismissed, with Bayern unwilling to entertain any offers regardless of their value.
Speaking to Christian Falk, Eberl insisted that the club see Olise as a key part of their long-term project and have no plans to sanction a departure.
Falk told CFBayern: “Bayern declares Olise unsellable! No Chance for Real and Fiorentino Perez. No Chance for Liverpool for their search for a Salah successor.
“I have talked with Bayern’s Head of Sport Max Eberl. He told me that they wouldn’t even consider it if an offer came in. He’s a Bayern Munich player and has all the opportunities here that top players could wish for. Bayern wants to shape the future with him.
“Eberl also confirmed to me that Olise has no Release clause in his contract.”
