Harry Kane has hinted at the possible extension of his Bayern Munich contract.
The England international provided some reassuring comments over his future in the aftermath of the Bavarians’ 4-0 win over Werder Bremen.
There were two more goals to add to Kane’s treasury of efforts – taking his total tally to 100 for the incumbent Bundesliga champions in 104 games.
Could Harry Kane extend his Bayern contract?

The possibility of Harry Kane leaving the German top-flight in 2026 will not be an eventuality the Bayern bosses will delight in contemplating.
That’s firstly because the club already failed to secure a potential long-term replacement in Nick Woltemade, with the striker heading to Newcastle instead.
Nicolas Jackson, signed on loan from Chelsea, may also only turn out to be a temporary solution.
So it’s reassuring to hear Kane suggest this possibility may be moved further along down the road.
Regarding whether the former Spurs star wants to score his next 100 goals in Munich, he said: “Yes, here in Munich. I’m very happy here. My focus is on Bayern, I’m happy, and my family is happy.”
He went on to add on the topic of a possible extension: “We haven’t had that conversation yet. But I’m sure it’s something we can talk about. I have almost two years left on my contract. The club is happy with me, and I’m happy with them.”
Kane breaks Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland’s record
Harry Kane reached the 100-goal mark for Bayern after just 104 appearances – breaking a mega-record held by Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland.
The two attacking giants each needed 105 appearances to score 100 goals for Real Madrid and City, respectively.
It’s quite typical of the former Premier League star that even after his record-breaking brace, he’s already setting his sights on the next record.
On that note, Kane is tempted to break former Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski’s 41-goal record.
He told the press: “Of course. That would be another great record I’d love to have.” The veteran striker then added that it was still too early in the season to really chase the record.
Though he did concede: “So far, it’s been ten goals in five games. If I keep that up, it’s certainly possible. However, it will be difficult to maintain that rate throughout the entire season.”
It seems the prospect of a Premier League return for Harry Kane is not yet certain!
