Bayern Munich are out of the race for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
The Blues striker flew to Germany with his agent to undergo his medical at Bayern, but Chelsea refused to proceed with the deal following the injury to Liam Delap.
The German giants had previously agreed a loan deal to sign the 24-year-old striker.
Bayern Munich out of race for Nicolas Jackson

Christian Falk told CFBayern that Jackson and his agent, Ali Barat, had tried to secure a move to Bayern, but they have now been told to return to London.
Chelsea, however, were reportedly prepared to sell him to Bayern (or to any club) on a permanent deal, but such an option was out of the question for the German side.
Max Eberl informed Falk that Bayern do not have the right to keep Jackson, and, unfortunately, the events turned out this way, as the striker will have to return to Stamford Bridge.
Bayern have also informed the player and his agent to return to London, as they do not have the right to keep him.
With time running out, Bayern are unlikely to try to convince Chelsea to arrange another loan deal; instead, they will look for options elsewhere.
Bayern desperately need to sign new players
It is indeed a shame that the situation has been allowed to drag on until the final day of the window, when it was daylight clear from the beginning that Bayern needed more players in their attacking ranks.
Vincent Kompany has been fielding the same team in every match, as he has limited options in this department, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to lure top players away on loan.
Ademola Lookman of Atalanta has emerged as a top target, but it will be challenging to get him on loan on deadline day.
