Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, who is tipped to return to the Premier League next summer.
The Red Devils are long-term admirers of the former Tottenham Hotspur striker, while Chelsea could be looking to add more quality in their forward areas next summer.
Arsenal and Newcastle United are also reportedly interested, while La Liga giants Barcelona are plotting a move for Kane as Robert Lewandowski’s replacement.
Man Utd and Chelsea interested in Kane?

According to a report from The Sun, there is a possibility that Kane could return to the Premier League next summer.
The Red Devils could be looking to add a top-class striker despite signing Benjamin Sesko in the summer window, and should be keeping tabs on Kane’s situation.
Likewise, Chelsea could look to bring back Kane to the Premier League if the striker wants to return to England at all. Bayern signed Nicolas Jackson on loan from Chelsea this summer, and they could be interested in getting him permanently, involving Kane.
Harry Kane has been outstanding this season
Kane moved to Bayern from Tottenham for a fee of £86.4m in the summer of 2023.
He netted 26 goals in 31 league appearances last season and 98 goals in 103 games for Bayern in all competitions, proving his world-class stature.
The England skipper has started the 2025-26 season strongly and has been “sensational“, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists already in all competitions.
Christian Falk told CFBayern previously that Kane could return to England, as he only needs 48 Premier League goals to write his name into the history books.
According to a report from Bild, Kane can leave Bayern for £56.7m next summer. He has a contract at the Bavarian club until 2027, but he can go next summer only if he informs the club before the end of the January window.
Meanwhile, German legend Lothar Matthäus feels that Kane. should retire at Bayern.
He said: “He’s never been better, and he’s made an even bigger impact here. I don’t think Shearer’s [Premier League] record is a motivation.
“He’s done his job in the Premier League, and therefore he should end his career at Bayern. If he wants to earn some money afterward, he can move to Saudi Arabia. But I think Kane still has a few good years ahead of him at the very highest level.”
Kane is happy in Germany, but he might decide to move to any top Premier League club (who can meet his wages and offer him Champions League football) next summer, especially if he wins the Bundesliga and the Champions League with Bayern this season.
