This is a crucial week for Bayern Munich.
Liverpool have just completed their fourth signing of the summer after landing Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, and they are likely to sign more players in the coming weeks.
The Reds have made it clear that they do not want to sell Luis Diaz, and only a massive offer from Bayern could force Liverpool into doing business.
Still no offer from Bayern Munich

Liverpool have already rejected two bids from Bayern.
The Premier League champions could be willing to listen to offers in the region of €100m [£80m]. Bayern’s latest offer was around €67.5m [£58.4m] and it has become clear that they need to come to Liverpool’s valuation.
Bayern are expected to submit an ‘important’ offer for Diaz, and the German champions believe that Liverpool would be willing to negotiate.
Diaz still has two years left on his deal at Anfield, but he has already communicated to Liverpool his desire to move to Bayern.
According to a recent report from Kicker, Bayern are expected to offer more than €70m [£60m] for the Colombian international.
Christian Falk previously told CFBayern that Bayern can offer Diaz a higher salary than what he has been receiving at Liverpool.
“Bayern are keen to lower the wage bill at the club. However, Luis Diaz could easily earn €50m [£43.2m] gross (perhaps a little bit more with add-ons factored in), which could be more than he’s currently earning at Liverpool at the moment,” Christian Falk exclusively revealed with CF Bayern Insider.
James Pearce of The Athletic has claimed that Bayern have yet to submit an improved offer for Diaz. The Colombian international has trained normally with the rest of his teammates in Hong Kong.
He further adds that Liverpool have not considered Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as a possible replacement for Diaz.
The news should worry Bayern Munich fans
Diaz is Bayern’s first-choice target, and the club are desperate to land him.
The more time they waste on making the perfect offer, the more trouble they invite. The reason being, Liverpool would be more than happy to keep Diaz at the club, and they may not be willing to sell him towards the end of the window.
In the meantime, Bayern have made contact with RB Leipzig attacker Xavi Simons as well, and it looks like they are in some kind of transfer wilderness at the moment.
