Bayern Munich are close to securing a deal for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.
After a dramatic twist of events, the Bavarian giants are almost close to reaching an agreement with Jackson when, only 24 hours ago, it felt like the deal was off entirely.
The fee is still to be agreed upon, but significant progress has been made during the discussions between the two clubs.
Bayern Munich confident of signing Nicolas Jackson

Bayern began searching for alternatives and attempted to secure the services of Ademola Lookman. However, Atalanta refused to let the player go on deadline day.
Then talks reopened between Chelsea and Bayern again, with the player’s agent making a serious effort to secure the move for his client.
Ali Bharat said: “Nico was ready. Bayern was ready. We were all aligned on a world-class project. For the agreement to be withdrawn at the final moment is deeply frustrating.
“But we won’t give up I’ll fight with everything I have to make sure Nico’s next step reflects his talent, ambition, and the plan we built together. We hope that Chelsea can cover Liam Delap’s unfortunate injury.”
Christian Falk told CFBayern earlier today that Bayern are getting confident that a deal will be struck this time around.
According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, Bayern are now prepared to accept an obligation element in the loan agreement, and as a result, the deal is now close.
Bharat further told Sky: “Yes, it is true as Sky reported. The deal was off yesterday evening. Since today, the clubs are negotiating again. We hope for a solution, because Nicolas Jackson is ready for FC Bayern. We are fighting until the end for this deal.”
Jackson on loan would be a fantastic signing for Bayern
The German champions need more players up front, and Vincent Kompany will be more than happy to have Jackson on his side.
The Senegal international has not featured in the Premier League this season, and his future could lie permanently away from Stamford Bridge.
The next few hours will be crucial, but Bayern are hoping that a deal can be struck before the 7pm transfer deadline.
